On this vacation I visited some areas which have top surfing spots in their own right, such as for instance the small island of Barbados which is in (i think) British West Indies (which has been featured in ‘Surfing’ magazine several times and used to be a setting for some real life Pirates of the Caribbean). This time I did not go because I did not have my surfboard with me, and it costs around as much as the board is worth to take it with me (thanks to the airline carriers fees).
