Woman Arrested For Bomb Threat Call
Agents of the FBI arrested a Denver woman who has been identified as Terrice Gay Hutchinson after calling in a bomb threat to Missouri based Southwest Airlines. People in Washington do not take kindly to such criminal behavior, I have noticed.
According to reports the agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigations arrested Hutchinson after she had called Southwest Airlines and reported that her husband who was a passenger on a flight from Denver to Las Vegas was carrying a bomb. She may need a top criminal defense attorneys for this one, I think.
Southwest was able to investigate the threat and find it was unfounded without delaying the flight or disrupting any other flights such as those to missouri.
Hutchinson made an appearance where she was explained the charges against her and is due in court for a scheduled appearance later in the month for a detention hearing. It is more serious than an auto accident or adui or something like that.
June 16, 2008 Hutchinson was indicted by a Federal Grand Jury alleging that April 17, 2008 she placed a call to Southwest Airlines stating that her husband had a bomb. She went on to state that he intended to blow up the plane. Any criminal case in Washington or any other state it is advisable to be represented by a criminal defense attorneys and it should be noted that there are experienced Washington criminal defense attorneys with a proven track record of their ability to represent their client in the state of Washington.
If she is convicted of the charges she faces she could be sentenced to 5years in federal prison and fined up to $250,000 this would be for giving false information and threats concerning aviation transportation.
According to reports U.S. Attorneys Troy Eid has stated that threats that involve airlines would be prosecuted.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Jeremy Sibert will be the prosecutor in the case against Hutchinson.
According to reports a statement from Special Agent In Charge James Davis of the FBI said that threats of any kind are taken serious and Mrs. Hutchinson has seen that she will be held accountable for her actions.
