Hurt Chicago Building Worker Files Personal Injury Lawsuit

Filed under: Injury News — keebdatabase @ 5:02 am

In a bit of legal news coming out of the windy city of Chicago, a former construction worker filed a personal injury lawsuit against several building firms after suffering considerable injuries during a work accident. Apparently, Mr.Thomas Capstick was working on a construction project on December 22, 2006, when the railing he was standing on collapsed. The plaintiff reports suffering a traumatic, disabling spinal personal injury.

All in all, he names several companies as being at least partially responsible for his personal injury, and this includes: Elite Contracting, Dayton Superior Corporation, ITW Red Head, OK Fasteners, and Keller Construction. The injury victim in question claims the defendants are indeed liable for his personal injuries and is seeking amounts of more than $500,000. As a side note, if you live in the greater Chicago area and need a well respected Chicago personal injury attorney then please call Mr. John Buden. He handles an assortment of different accidents and is an awesome Chicago personal injury attorney in my personal opinion. Onward to other legal related news:

A lawsuit filed in the state of Indiana charges that the Catholic Church failed to report to law enforcement a priest who had been accused of the serious crime of child molestation. His only discipline involved transferring him to different parishes.

Adding insult to personal injury, this suit claims that in 2003-04 Richard A. Emerson repeatedly abused a then-11-year-old boy at St. Thomas More parish in Munster, Ind. The boy is now 16. It is easy to see why they went and retained an attorney. It is an interesting world, is it not?
